A Blog of the Day Award goes to yes and yes
From the author:
Sarah Von
When I was 22, I lived in Brazil for a summer. I traveled to Amazonia on my own and went fishing for piranhas. This consisted of dangling bloody bits of raw beef off the side of our boat, while the guide bapped at the water with a stick to simulate trashing, injured livestock. I periodically felt tugs on my line, but never set the hook because I was afraid of landing a tiny, razor-toothed fish in the bottom of our boat where I was sure it would get loose and bite my ankles. So that's pretty much me in a nut shell. *Fairly* adventurous, but still too afraid to land the piranha.
