There is one blog which has really stood out from all others in my mind, recently, and that is David Hodge's (pen name Davidbdale)Very Short Novels.

Each post is a novel of up to 299 words length. They are imaginate, thought provoking, challenging to ideas and brilliant.

I recently wrote on David's blog:

I thoroughly enjoy visiting, and being able to read a whole idea in a short time, but then being able to take it with me, and mull over it later. The strength of your writing allows it to be remembered easily, and digested over time.

Much of your work addresses areas of our lives we might not look at often, because we secret it away, or because it isn’t the ‘done thing’, and it may make a person feel uncomfortable in the reading, because of its honesty and sincerity. That’s a good thing. We all need our ideas and feelings and thoughts challenged occasionally - else we’ll set them in stone…

Thanks for being here - you add a richness to the blogosphere. And I really think, if you aren’t published already, you jolly well should be!!
